Day 2 & 3: Canoe or two-seater kayak or Stand-Up Paddle

Departure for two days in a canoe, two-seater kayak or stand-up paddle. On the program: wildlife observation and pike fishing. Our route crosses ancient primary forests in an atmosphere worthy of the "Lord of the Rings", through a series of rivers and lakes recognized as the most beautiful in Finland. The canoe circuit that crosses the Hossa park offers a multitude of different paths: small rivers that connect the lakes, forest canyon with cliffs made up of very old rocks ... After leaving our canoes, a short walk on the ridges allows you to discover the most northern rock paintings in Finland, which make the park famous. A moving and instructive testimony of the Neolithic and the first known human presences in the region.
Night in a trapper's hut or tent (subject to availability) on the water. Return to your chalets at the end of the afternoon of D3. Sauna.

Accommodation: Meals & Night in your chalets.

It is also possible to rent equipment to go alone in contact with nature (mountain biking, canoes, boats, fishing equipment). You can also head south (250km) to observe wolves and the Wolverine, commonly known as a wolverine. It is also possible to do a day of canoeing in Oulanka (minimum 4 people). Lunch at the chalet or in the nature in the form of a picnic, as you wish. Jour 5 : Dog-hike

We leave for a day of cani-rando as the Eskimos did formerly: a dog (with a bag of pack) pulls us with the belt. An experience that dogs will enjoy sharing with you! This ancestral tradition was used by the Malamute Indians, the Inuit or even the Scandinavian peoples who did not own reindeer. The sled dogs were then used as draft and pack animals. To do this, we select the most cuddly and coolest dogs in traction. It is a special experience where a real bond is established between the man and his dog. This way of moving forward is much appreciated by children and adolescents who are not necessarily amateurs of pure walking. Regular stops by the lakes will allow dogs (and men) to cool off.

Accommodation: Meals & Night in your chalets.

Day 6: Observation of the brown bear

Free morning in your chalet. After lunch, transfer by vehicle to the observation site. Only 50 km separate us from a landlocked area of neighboring Russia where the proportion of wild brown bears is the highest in Europe. The viewing possibilities are very good! Seeing wild bears roaming free is a rare sight that will envy you when you return. Observation conditions, but also total security, for this show which has no equivalent elsewhere in Europe!
We are regularly lucky enough to observe cubs and their mothers, although this is never guaranteed with wild animals from the great taiga. Dinner in the observation hut as a picnic. Return in the evening to your chalets.
NB: from 17/08 bear watching can be canceled due to regulations. We will try to find another bear watching station and / or offer you a visit to a wildlife park.

Accommodation: Meals & Night in your chalets.

Day 7: Hike on Tunturi

Hiking day on Mount Iivarra. This magnificent place is a veritable belvedere on the great Finnish and Russian taiga.

Accommodation: Meals & Night in your chalets.

Day 8: Airport transfer for return flight

Departure in the morning to the airport.
